Just to say
Take it this way. I am not a big writer or anything. But I have had a very event full life. From the very first day I remember till now. Each day has been QUITE a day. I have been planning to write a book but then a friend of mine gave me an idea of getting into blogs first. So here I am with my first blog. To be fairly honest I dont even know how blogs work but then again there is a first time for everything.
Anyway, my short introduction would be a wise decission here coz I dont want to bore anyone. You can know me as A. I have a very close netted family my parents, 2 elder brothers and a loving sis. Both of my brothers are married and are living their lives happily. Whereas, my sister is looking for a husband. Finally, me. I got married this year in January. I have a loving wife and we are expecting our first child in November. I work as a team manager with one of the most reputable companies in UK. In past seven months I have been promoted thrice and have had two increments. So you can say that my professional life is going quite good. Lets move on forward.......
Background
Going back to my earliest memory I can remember my dad working really hard to feed us as a family and my mom teaching us how to be wise and live our lives. Those were the good days. When as kids me my brothers and sister used to carry around our innocence share all our love and joy with our family. I was born in Kuwait my dad still works there in a petroleume refinary and you might not believe he still works there. That country is where we started our lives from and it still is a big part of our lives.
My mother and father got maried in 1970 in Pakistan. My poor mother got married into a family where she was beaten up to work and my dad was forced to spend much of his time at work in order to feed a family of eight people including my grandfather, mother, my dad's two brothers and his two sisters. My dad being the eldest had to be the bread winner for the whole family and the rest out of them didnt have the fair conciousness to go and work for themselves. My father being the man who always wanted to keep everyone together just worked hard and hard for the whole family and during the times he was away for work my mother was battered for any petty little mistakes. My mother came from a very wealthy in India. She never had to work while she was at her parents and my fathers family was a struggling family because they lost everything when they migrated to Pakistan during the partition of India and Pakistan in 1947. Anyways, life moved on from both my parents my father kept on working and my mother kept on waiting for Allah almighty to rescue her from all the grief she was going through.
A year after my parents wedding there came the first joy of their life the birth of my eldes sister. I will refer to her as O. As she was the first one my parents were over the moon on her birth. She is still the most loved one in our family, and why not, she is the bestest daughter and sister ever. A year after her brother followed my eldest brother Big B and then a year after the brother elder then me M. My parents were blessed with three kids whom they promised to bring up in the best manner they could. Although life after their births imporved but for my mother the grief continued. My father still kept working and feeding the whole family but yet did not get any help from any of his brothers or sisters. At this time he decided to part away and live seperately for the sake of himself and his little family and so he moved away.
Standard of life changed sharply. Which was quite obivous the wage which feeded 11 was not being used by 5 people my mother who lost a lot of weight under duress start gaining her health back which was solely because of now much more relaxed life. With just her loving husband and her three kids. It was at this time when my mother started looking for overseas oppurtunities for my father. Bless my sweet mother. She used to buy news paper from her daily budget to see if there were any oppurutunities for my father to apply and whenever there were mother would type up a C.V (my mother is a qualified typist and short hand writer) and post it. She kept on doing it for nearly six months and then the doors of blessed oppurtunities from Allah opened. My father got an interview call from Kuwait. My mother still tells me about her joy on that day. She says, "I jumped and hugged your dad, It was like we have seen hope of new life. It was just amazing". From this day on wards my father started preparing for his big day. It was a one time oppurtunity for him and he didnt want to miss it. My father has told me much about that day but as far as I can remember it was five star hotel (A big thing in them days) he got here had an interview and aced it. They offered him a job and said to him you will have to travel in 2 weeks he was so excited that he did all the shopping on his way back to home and all this time my mother sat and prayed to Allah that he gets it and she had all my brothers and sister's lined up praying for their dad's success as well.
Begining of good days
